Starting the 24/25 School Year at Lucerne International School!
We’re so excited to welcome our students to the first week of the 24/25 school year at Lucerne International School!
There’s a lot of energy on campus as both new and returning students come together to begin another exciting year of learning and growth. The first day was filled with fun activities to help everyone feel comfortable, from ice-breaker games to challenges like navigating survival on Mars. We ended the day with calming breathing exercises and mindfulness practice, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
We’re especially proud to share that Maya Baig, a graduate of the Class of 2023 and now studying at the University of Lancaster, volunteered her time to help us make the first day a success. Maya not only captured these special moments with her camera but also wrote the lovely reflection below:
"As an alumnus, it’s fantastic to see all the new and returning faces at Lucerne International School. The first day was filled with ice-breaker activities, including introductions and even navigating survival on Mars, getting to know each other. We wrapped up with breathing exercises and practicing mindfulness, helping everyone start adjusting to the school environment.
From the class of 2023, it’s amazing to see how the school has grown and developed for the next generation of students!"
